Miss Victoria bowed herself off with a wave of finality after “The Model”
and the audience, with the idea in mind that it was to be cheated out of hearing the English woman's former song hit, worked itself up to a real demonstration that sounded like the end of the third act of a first night when the genial “speech, speech” man gets busy.
The arrangement whereby “Waiting at the Church” is kept until the finale is a skillful piece of stage jockeying.
