Singing.
Mlle. Nitta-Jo has a rather unique singing affair, alternating between French and English songs before a drop showing the interior of a Parisian "joint." Assuming the role of a girl Apache he lends a little color to the modern vaudeville bill, seems reasonably graceful and takes the suggestive coloring away from the character as previously characterized by her American predecessors. She was accompanied in one song by a veiled miss in a balcony stage box. It was a return date at the Palace for Nitta-Jo, and around the house they said she did better Monday than previously.
