Miss Carus performs several original songs and one about travelling men, which proved to be a great favourite.
Emma Carus is a la May Irwin and Marie Cahill although lacking something of the distinctiveness of those well-known favourites. With a good, clear voice and some mannerisms quite her own, Miss Carus keeps the audience in an uproar while she is on stage.
