Miss Carus has a variety of new songs and "stunts."Her act is spiced with patriotic music, which makes it all the more acceptable. The comedy song-hit "The Rag-time Volunteers," sung by her and Mr. Cromer is followed by one of the latest of war songs, "Backing the U.S.A."
With her strident, flexible voice and her irresistible Irish humour, she commands her audience between applause and laughter throughout her act.
