She arranged her wardrobe scheme so that each outfit outbid its predecessor.
Miss Oswald performed four wisely selected numbers. Three of the numbers are new and probably restricted for her use only. Her other number, which she finished with, was "Alexander's Band." The popular rag is as familiar to the Majestic audience as "Dixie" is to a southerner. She also performs "Twilight" and "After the Honeymoon."
Miss Oswald's new speciality was accepted with well deserved enthusiastic applause. "The Lady in Pink" was a big hit.
"In Dear Old Sweden" is a corking good number without any attempt at dialect or comics, and is therefore one of her best numbers. The medley gives one the whistling desire. In comparing Miss Oswald to other single women, one must over look the dressing for "The Lady in Pink" has the classiest wardrobe ever disclosed at the Majestic.
