Was applauded when she came on, showing clearly that she had been an important factor in drawing the large audience which practically filled every portion o the auditorium from orchestra to top balcony. As a vocalist, there is no gain saying the fact that she is quite ordinary and if she were paid in proportion to her singing ability, she would not receiving one-sixth of her present salary. She is good for one trip on the strength of her relationship to the late President McKinley, and that lets her off.
