Delmore and Lee

2 shows, 12 min. in 4. Spectacular aerial acrobats. First time here for this act, and their first appearance in five years. Scored as big a hit as any act of the kind we have played this season.

Robert Fulgora

2 shows, 17 min. full stage. Giving impersonations of known and unknown people, some of them types with which the average person is not familiar. His scenic and other stage equipment is decided shabby and his changes are sort of “sloppy.” Perhaps, if we had not seen the admirable work of Henry Lee, this would not be so apparent. He is only good for an early pace in the 2-show section in the bill.

Cain and De Forest

3 shows, 13 min. in 1. Singing and talking comedians. John Cain’s Frenchman is as good as ever and De Forest is a decided improvement on Mitchell. In a way, he reminds one of Frank Daniels. Like the preceding attempts at singing, that of this team was not good, but their comedy made amends, and there were times when De Forest had them hollering. It is better than lots of 2-show acts in 1.

Frank Gardner and Lottie Vincent

2 shows, 15 min. full stage. In the comedy singing and dancing specialty, “An Idyll of the Links.” They are not blue ribbon vocalists, but the comedy is novel and the eccentric dancing at the finish carries them off to great applause. First rate act for this place in the bill.

Lillien Mills and Elida Morris

3 shows, 13 min. in 1. “Blackface Minstrel Girls”, with old jokes and songs, evidently pleased the audience, as they were liberally applauded at the finish of their act.

La Tell Brothers

3 shows, 8 min. in 2. Hand-to-hand balancing and equilibristic work. Good act of this class, but not quite equal to some of the others we play. Received a fair amount of applause for their cleverest stunts.

Al Bellman and Lottis Moore

2 sows, 16 min. full stage. These people are doing a straight act, and neither one can be classed as a good vocalist. They got some applause, especially at the finish, with their old “tough” songs and dance. Nothing in the act is new and it is $100 overpaid at YHR. We were not carrying them on our list, never having been notified of the booking. Unless they have something entirely new and like-wise booked at a much more reasonable figure, do not care if they do not return.

Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain

3 shows, 10 min. full stage. In their rope and lasso manipulation. First time in two years. Interesting act that could easily be moved into an early, lace in the 2 show section. Got a lot of applause.

Al Fields

Formerly of “Fields & Ward”, in a very good eccentric monologue. I believe I like this act better than the double act. Compared with what the rest in the show got, he got his full quota of laughs although in a very tough spot. 19 min. in one, 2 shows.

Barrows, Lancaster & Co.

In “When Georgina Was Eighteen”. This is an exceptionally good sketch and well-played by the two men, but their support, especially that of the young girl, is atrocious, in fact, these people seem to have the ability to get the poorest support of anyone, in their line, in Vaudeville. The part of the young girl should be played by a sweet, pretty [?] instead of which they have a coarse loud voiced girl, who is anything but pretty and who runs around the stage like a cow. In spite of her bad work, the act went very well. 21 min. full stage, 2 shows.
