The Hoopers

A pastel sketch of a nude woman on a detachable essel is used for the “lewd” comedy,” and there is another nasty bit where a fork i inserted into the trousers’ seat of the comedy assistant.

Maz Wessely Troupe

Not only do they keep moving rapidly but find time for an entire costume change.

W.C. Fields

The eccentric juggler was formerly with “The Ham Tree”. The act went without a single slip.

Selma Braatz

Something went wrong and she did not recover. One of her torches fell in her closing number but the failure to have the house completely dark could have been the cause.

Selma Braatz

Does all the tricks shown by the men inher class. Her performance goes rapidly and with few slips. There is a woman assistant. The setting is bright with paraphenalia of tasteful color. She dresses neatly but with poor choice in color. A white waist and short skirt with brown stockings. The closing trick consists of juggling lighted torches on a dark stage. The lights change color and some high throws are made over the shoulder. When the lights come back on her skirt has been removed and she is seen in knickerbockers.

Harrigan

A tramp juggler. Harrigan’s last appearance in Vaudville. Using the same act.

Christy

Thriller of comedyu juggling. Formerly Christy and Willis. Tossed objects such as an umbrella, silk hat, a lit cigar and rubber balls.

Lavine and Leonard

Good comedy effects through the use of an auto similar to Harry Tate’s “Motoring” except the car is real. If the team gave more attention to the machine more fun would be had.
