Wormwood’s Animals

18 min. in one. Well known on the circuit. An act that always pleases fairly well, particularly the children. For some reason or other, Wormwood never seems able to give us a decent performance on Monday afternoon and the act at the start this afternoon was very ragged indeed and very slow but pulled up in the middle and closed fairly well. After some of the European animal acts we have played, the lack of finish stands out very prominently, although Wormwood must be given credit for having clowned up and put on some very god costuming. Some applause through the act and a fair hand at the finish. Promises a much better show tonight.
