playing the role of "Steve Hickey." Joe Love makes a good "straight", Ben Cook does a good bit of comedy as the German general in
the burlesque, and Harry Bentley, In Hebrew makeup,
figures principally as the mark for the "wine buying" and "money-exchanging". Also features Ida Strugis, Julia Heitzman, Margie Hilton, and the acrobatics of Demora and Graceta.
...the poorest drilled bunch of girls seen this season. There was hardly
a number in the show that did not suffer. There seems to be no Just reason why the principals
should suffer severe criticism for they all
appeared to work bard enough to mske the worthless
material win laughs and succeeded at times
mainly through their own personality, rather than
the business.
