Mr. Bond is a prime favorite here being of the leading men of our Stock Company of the last few seasons. Mr. Bond is giving us at my desire a monologue, rather than his sketch, opening it “cold” here. As Mr. Bond is so well known and well liked here we could afford of course, to take this chance and proved more satisfactory than the sketches that he has played for us before. While not in thorough shape for other houses, I am sure that Mr. Bond has all the elements of the monologist and he has material which, with working out, will get over. He portrays a country doctor and has an act that he recalls somewhat that of Ezra Kendall of some years ago. When the time comes another season, I think Mr. Bond should be encouraged a given an opportunity to give this act a working out. 20 minutes in one.
