Nellie Wallace

English comedienne. 16 min. in 1, 2 shows. On at 9:18. This woman was a decided and emphatic hit. We were very much in doubt as to how the Philadelphia would take her, after New York had thrown her a chill, and Boston gave her a welcome hand. But Wallace had not been on the stage three minutes before they saw that they had found a truly individual genius of humor in this woman, From that time on the jury could not seem to get enough of her. Each one of her song received a very flattering hand, and she was compelled to make her little speech. Thin there is no doubt at all of her success for the balance of this week. Press more than usually flattering.
