Jessie Reed, a newcomer, scored the hit of the show. The young woman sings songs in the cafe fashion. She has not exercised any discrimination In her choice of numbers, rendering published numbers which outran their vogue six months ago. But she has a personality that pleases the mind, an appearance that pleases the eye and a voice that pleases the world. Given bettor material Miss Reed could get away on the big time.
