The sketch is designed to introduce a singing number by Frances Hartley, but the song is not heard until the finish, the whole sketch being given over to Andy Amann's comedy. It should be made more of a singing turn with the numbers introduced earlier, and the clowning brought about as an incidental instead of the other way 'round.
