Hibbert and Kennedy
The act was eleven minutes long. The act begins with eccentric dancing by Hibbert, and finishes with comedy. The act is done in blackface.
Four Everetts
The act was eight minutes long, and it took place on a full stage. Two men and two women were dressed in bright Mexican outfits. One woman showed “unusual strength”. Some tricks were “out of the ordinary” while others have been seen on the American stage before.
Longstreet, Harker, and Johnson
The act was twelve minutes long. Three men, one doing blackface comedy, one Italian, and the third, Irish, sing. The three are dressed in Tuxedos.
Cullum Bros.
The act was eight minutes long. It opens with a ballad and eccentric dance, followed by the “scarecrow” dance, and finished by wooden show stepping.
Savage and De Crotean
The act was thirteen minutes long. The woman wears short dresses throughout the act. The man wears German makeup and plays the piano. He does an Eddie Leonard imitation.
Bovis and Darley
The act was eleven minutes long. The female member talks and sings. She appeared in girlish attire for her last number. The man has a laughing song. They have dialogue about women’s rights.
Aurelia Ellenbeck and Co.
The act entitled “Within His Grasp” was twenty-four minutes long, and it took place on a full stage. The villain (Desperate Desmond) has a wicked smile and wears patent leather shoes with pearl grey uppers. He offers to lift an Italian flower girl (Miss Ellenbeck) out of poverty if she would love him. She refuses him. Her husband Pietro, low in spirit after losing his job, believes she would be better off with Desmond, only to break the deal at the last second.
Herbert and Dennis
The act is ten minutes long. Herbert is overweight.
Three Mitchells
The act entitled “Sister Act” was eight minutes long. Three young women, each in a different coloured dress, sing five numbers with rehearsed steps.
