This is a very good act. A very clever whistler, and gives several imitations on different instruments, all of which were good. A very good act for about $60.00 and three shows and second on the bill. Went very well. 14 minutes in one. Three shows.
This fellow was another one of our Thursday morning trials. He is one of the best whistlers I have ever heard. His best work is imitations of different birds which are very good. The audience seemed to like him very much this afternoon. I am very glad to say that he made good. 10 minutes in one.
3 shows, 12 min. in 1. Whistling soloist, and imitator of bird and animals. Nice, clean appearing chap, who always makes good in an early spot in the bill in this house.
Whistler and Singer. 7 min. in 1. 3 shows. Makes a good presentation. Gave a song, two whistling numbers and an encore, all of which were very creditable. Received pretty good hand at close. Acceptable opener
3 shows, 8 min. in 1. Quite a pleasing whistling soloist who does very well for the 3-a-day section.
3 shows, 11 min. in 1. Man who calls himself “The Human Bird”, as he whistles in imitation of various songsters. He is a pretty clever chap and has a good address in introducing his imitations. From a 3-a-day standpoint can be considered of good value.
Whistler. First appearance in years. Has pleasing selections and finished to the biggest applause of any not on the bill up to this time. 11 min. in one- 3 shows
– Whistler. This girl whistles well, but dresses in very bad taste, and has a tough walk that the detracts from her act which may be classed as fair. 7 minutes in one, 3 shows.
Whistling solos. This young lady is a very nice and genteel looking, and really whistles about as well as any woman I have ever heard. Of course these acts do not amount to very much, but they are usually cheap and will do to sandwich in once in a while, in the way of novelty. 9 minutes in one.
3 shows, 10 min, in one—This girl is a vocal mimic and whistler of somewhat attractive personality, and always makes a hit in the house. This afternoon she finished quite strong, warranting a better place if we find it necessary to shift her.
