The Welson Troupe
European rope performers. Four well developed, athletic looking men in new and novel feats on ropes instead of flying rings. Well known over the circuit. On at 2:30 this afternoon, they made a most profound impression, in fact going 100 per-cent better than when playing here at any time before, the applause being practically continuous. 13 mins. House Gar. In 4.
Will Rogers
An act without a peer for novelty, execution and atmosphere. This Rogers is a genuine child of the plains with a patter that is both original and refreshing. His work with his lasso and Indian pony assisted by a fellow cowboy is remarkable, and I consider him the true headliner of the bill. 13 min. FS.
Max Weldon Troupe
2 shows, 12 min, full stage. European rope performers. Well-known on the circuit. They did not go as strong as on their previous visit here last Fall. Nevertheless, they were repeatedly applauded and will probably go better tonight when we have an audience that is awake.
The Great Max Welson Troupe
Rope performers. 11 min. 2 shows. Three men, making a fine presentation. Their paraphernalia is rather meager, but they are very powerful fellows and look the part of the gentlemen athletes. Their stunts received very liberal applause, and at the close, with a particularly sensational feature, they got a stiff hand. One of the best acts of the kind in Vaudeville.
Will Rogers
3 shows, 13 min, full stage. Typical Western Plainsman, assisted by a man and a broncho [sic] in wonderful exhibition with the lasso. Mr. Rogers performs feats with the lasso such as I have never seen before and his western talk is really excellent comedy. Of course the introduction of the broncho into the act adds greatly to its value. There is no doubt but what he will create considerable talk about town, in fact, one newspaper man has already offered to write him up.
Will Rogers
Lasso manipulator. This fellow is a crack-a-jack, and gives better act than the Chamberlins. Uses a cow-pony and a cow-boy assistant. He’s a typical westerner, and his remarks when he misses a trick are very funny. All his tricks were applauded and he closed very strong. Very good act. 13 min. Water landscape in 4.
Crutchfield
Rope tricks.

Ellen Richards
“Ellen Richards dresses neatly and attractively. She has an excellent wire routine, similar to that seen before and handles herself well on the tight wire although she is inclined to slow things up a bit.”
