Claude Ranf.

The act was fifteen minutes long, taking place on a full stage. Mr. Ranf walks a wire with no “violent swaying or swinging”. He is an excellent balancer. The wire looks heavier than that normally used by wire walkers. Mr. Ranf also juggles.

Burgos and Clark

The act was eight minutes long on the full stage. The man opens with a lariat exhibition. He then ties up the woman with a lasso. They are both dressed in Western costumes. They finish with a short routine on the slack wire. The woman holds one end of a rope and the man balances on it.

The Lowes

The Lowes do lasso tricks. The man, who sounds and acts like Will Rogers, did all of the standard lasso stunts usually done by the masters.

Max Welson Troupe

Spanish ring work employing rope grips instead of metal rings. Have a number of smart tricks with clean cut neatness. Four men are employed and all work, the act is not padded with apprentices. In one trick one man carries the others from the stage. all doing handstands.
