H.V. Fitzgerald

GRR 3. Quick change artist. This man carries on a dialogue with himself, making quick changes behind a screen to impersonate the characters that are supposed to be talking. Has improved since last here, but still his makeup is so imperfect that the stage has to be kept in semi-darkness. Good for three show section. 13 mins. Gar. in 4.

Eva Mudge

14 minutes, full stage. Carries her own drops. Military maid in quick character changes. This is a neat act and something of a novelty. While Miss Mudge’s voice is not very strong, she is going very well.

H.V. Fitzgerald

14 mins. Gar. in 3. Quick change artist. He just falls short of having a mighty good act. His changes are quick, but his dialogue is delivered in monotone, and gets monotonous. The stage has to be in semi-darkness throughout the act, for his changes are not complete enough to stand inspection on a well-lighted stage. Act went well, but could be made to go much better, Good three-a-day act.

H.B. Fitsgerald

Known as the American Fregoli, and there is absolutely no question but that if this man had proper dialogue and could command different dialects better he would have an act absolutely superior to Fregoli, Beondi, or any of the rest of those fellows. He makes his changes with great rapidity and has more novel ideas I think than ever put forward by either of the artists but he is not able to change the tone of his voice apparently in the least degree, so that the characters he represents are all done in the same tone. As it is, it is a very good three show a day act. 13 minutes open full stage, can close in one if necessary.

H.V. Fitzgerald

Change artist. He is giving us a new act this time which the audience received very cordially. His changes are as good as those of any of the big people. Had he the acting ability of presenting his work he would be one of the big head-liners. As a three a day act it must be called very good. 15 min, full stage, close in one.
