the trick of slipping the hands into differently colored.gloves so swiftly that the coverings seem to spring into place of their own volition. Hymack merely puts his hand under his coat tails as if reaching for a handkerchief and, presto, it is neatly gloved. Neckties are changed with the same celerity and for a finish Hymack changes his coat in view of the audience, without anyone discovering how the trick is done.
It left the Colonial audience in an audible buzz of comment and speculation.
