12 minutes f.s. This is a very fair opening act, doing difficult feats with the teeth and on the trapeze and rings. Good value for the money and could open most any show.
Guinan & Hewell
11 min. “A Chinese Circus.” This is a very novel horizontal bar act introduced in a new way. The two boys open with some clever eccentric dancing in evening clothes and then change to Chinese costumes and go through a routine of showy tricks. Act made very good impression.
Rose and Ellis
7 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. Man and woman in a “bump” and barrel jumping act. The girl makes up as a clown, with white face, surprising the audience near the finish. Man does some wonderful barrel jumping, blind-folded. Good opener.
Four Akis
16 min. A Japanese novelty. Did unusually well in the opening position. Their routine is varied, well staged, the act is attractively dressed and was liberally splendid.
“Sport in the Alps”
9 min. A new acrobatic novelty with seven men. They appear in a picturesque stage setting with appropriate costumes. They have a wonderful routine of spring-board tricks which brought frequent applause and they registered a distinctive hit for an acrobatic act.
“The Flying Torpedoes”
Presented by the Mirano Brothers. 5 minutes f.s. Special set. This is one of the biggest aerial novelties we have ever played. The men work at opposite ends of a revolving 20-foot steel cross bar, suspended at the top of a 30-foot steel structure, shaped to resemble the Eiffel Tower. One sits in a torpedo-shaped car, with propeller, while at the opposite end is a trapeze from which the other performs various stunts while the apparatus is revolving rapidly in midair. The act is backed by a cyclorama 90 feet long. The turn is very spectacular

Page, Hack and Mack
10 minutes full stage. C.D.F. two men and one girl in hand-to-hand balancing and contortionist work. The work is clean, done in a thoroughly showmanlike manner, and they held interest every minute.

Works in full stage 10 min. Trapeze and webb offering opening hanging by teeth while disrobing. Talks during act which is along the suggestive line. Went fair.
