Emile and John Nathane

Emile and John Nathane, in Tuxedo suits, offered a graceful and clean-cut hand balancing and acrobatic turn, consisting of hand-to-hand work, somersaults, single hand to head, from which latter position the top-mounter dropped to plange position and straightened up again. It was all rapidly and neatly done, with some comedy. But, oh gee, it was hot!

Jed Dooley

Jed Dooley, before a special drop, did series of rope-stunts and dances, assisted by a girl not programmed. She is probably not mentioned because she does nothing worth a whisper, but she should be mentioned because she looks worth shouting about. Jed and his lollapalooza entertained lightly and wittily and were well liked if not wildly applauded. This is not one of the turns that was out of its sphere.

Winton Brothers

The Winton Brothers, hand balancers, have a beautiful act that earned deserved appreciation. The boys work upstage back of a picture frame effect in their drop, which frames the picture posing and hand balancing they do.

Four Pashas

[New Act] Tumbling. 6 mins.; Full stage. In different costumes from what has been identified with this class of work heretofore, four dark-skinned men go through a fast routine of ground tumbling of the Arabian style, consisting of high dives to handstands, etc. all of which is wholly familiar to present day vaudeville patrons. Nothing unique about the act to lift it out of the small time houses.

Billy La Mont Trio

The Billy La Mont trio, with a capital wire act started things off in lively fashion. The younger the two girls is a start performer. Her frocks are edged with fluff like Bird Milliman’s and she resembles Miss Millman [sic] in her work. She is a streak on the tight wire, even faster than the clever man in the act and her trick of running on a moving rope is some stunt.

Amoros Sisters

A decidedly novel singing, dancing and acrobatic act. Works in full stage. While not the kind of an act with which to close the show, nevertheless they got by with it this afternoon in mighty good shape.

Nettie Carroll Trio

Three girls in a tight wire performance that is really above the average. F.S.

The Voie Trio

Ring act. A very nice feature for an opening spot. Could do better on a pinch. 9 Min. F.S.

Amoros Sisters

21 min. Special. Garden, full stage. Songs, dances, acrobatics and physical culture demonstrations. A big hit. This act is exceptionally well staged and dressed and entirely different from any act we have ever played.

Willie Bros.

13 min. F.S. Most wonderful equilibristic act that was ever seen here. All three make a very good appearance and their work is strong and at times positively thrilling. Every feat got a big hand, the ladder and pole work being especially warmly applauded. Closed immense.
