Louis Leo

Leo is a talkative ladder balancer keeping up a flow of ordinary chatter throughout that brings very little response. His balancing, however, is very good and his novelty finish whereby he dons a long baby dress that completely hides the ladder won big applause.

The LeGrohs

The LeGrohs, second, one of the classiest of the acrobatic acts in vaudeville, caught up the running and surprised the regulars with the smoothness of their ground tumbling routine. With the LeGrohs it isn’t what they do, it’s how they do it, the real test of showmanship.

Spell and Vernon

Spell and Vernon opened in full stage. There is some cross fire talk that is unnecessary. The act would get just as much going right into the equilibrium routine. The girl is very pretty, with a beautiful form, and assists her partner well on the trapeze. His last trick is one that requires a lot of skill and practice.

The Le Grohs (4).

12 Mins.; Full Stage. Two men and two women compose this foreign act that is made up of young contortions and acrobatics. The younger of men does the contortional twisting, different from the customary run. One of the women also contorts, while the other man is mostly acrobatic, and the third male does nothing of account. Of its kind it is very good, and, closing the Palace show this week, holds attention.

Rice and Lowe

These two men should cut down their time. One chap is straight, his partner doing comedy in white face. The comedy is far from new, several bits picked up here and there. The straight has a few tricks on the ground tumbling order. This pair must get something if they wish to get along.

Equilla Brothers

The Equilla Brothers closed the show, giving a five-minute exhibition of equilibristic acrobatics that gives them rank with the very best. The understander displayed remarkable strength and the top mounter remarkable balance. The house was in a mood to walk at any time and did so frequently during the performance. But none strayed from the start to the finish of the Equillas act.

The Bimbos

The Bimbos, in a novelty acrobatic act, using the tables and barrel, kept the audience in an uproar, when one of the Bimbos did the fall. He is ably assisted by a pretty miss, who works very hard, doing the heavy work of the act.

The Aerial De Groffs

The Aerial De Groffs closed holding most of the house. The gymnastics are a classy pair in appearance the work of the niftily formed girl and her partner making a clever exhibition.

Garcinetti Brothers

Garcinetti Brothers with their hand to hand, trampoline and hat juggling started the show, with good results. Anthony whistled his way through a classic and popular ballad, then going into an accordeon [sic] for fair results.

Vee and Telley

[New act] Hand and head balancing. 10 mins; full stage. Man and woman. Woman is the understander, handling the man, a husky chap, with ease and precision in all the familiar hand and head balancing stunts. A dog is used in several formations. While the animal shows plenty of intelligence and ability. It might better be eliminated as it gives the turn a small time appearance. Both man and woman are clever performers in their line, the man being an especially capable ground tumbler. Classier wardrobe would improve the general effect greatly. Good small timers opening or closing as they stand.
