In a sketch entitled “Even Stephen.” There are only two people in this act but they carry it through very cleverly, although the theme is an old one. Miss Urquhart is a very good actress and has some fine gowns which show to advantage clothing her graceful figure, full stage 20 minutes.
In a burletta entitled “Idle Fancy.” Their talking and singing in fair but it is their dancing that makes the big hit of the act; full stage 21 minutes.
In a skit called “Dooley & the Diamond.” While this is a new act it reminds one very much of their old one, Girard playing an Irish policeman and a monkey same as usual. The act could be improved upon greatly, full stage 28 minutes
This is his first vaudeville appearance in several years and he does very well, sings a song or two, tells a few stories that seem to strike the audience as particularly good. At a reasonable figure he will do for No. 2 or 3 on almost any bill; all in one 11 minutes.
European juggler, something on the order of Kara. His act is even better than I expected from reports received from other points and his work here is quite finished; full stage 12 minutes.
Two very fine athletes but it is hard for them to make a hit this week as Hassan Ben Ali’s Arabs were here last week, full stage 11 minutes.
A most artistic musical act. Mr. Latona gets a few good laughs from his tramp make-up and jokes, full stage, closing in one 25 minutes.
“The Bell Boy and the Waiting Maid.” Both are good acrobatic dancers and have a lively act, full stage, closing in one, 19 minutes.
She can sing coon songs very good but has never been a favorite with the audience in this theatre and does not go very well, all in one, 7 minutes.
Comedy club juggling act. Both Alburtus & Millar are good club jugglers and Miss Millar is an exceptionally good cornet soloist; makes a splendid opening act, full stage, 13 minutes.
