In ‘A Quiet Room.’ 21 minutes f.s. Interior. This is a new act, with Murphy as an actor who hires a ‘quiet’ room in a boarding house, and Miss Nichols as the maid-of –all-work. They are supported by one man. Along usual Murphy & Nichols’ lines, with all kinds of mishaps  and rackets in the ‘quiet’ room, ending up with a fire scene. The curtain falls as the hoseman is playing a stream of water on Murphy. The latter, clad in his nightshirt, is trying to find a refuge under the bed. While piece is a bit rough, it got a lot of laughs, and went over very well as a whole.
