The whistling is about all there is to be said about this act, although both brothers play the accordion. The whistling brother performs a selection from "Il Trovatore" and another for an encore, both are accompanied by his brother on the accordion. One begins to wonder why the act was booked until they realize the whistling brother performs without mechanical assistance. He possibly uses his hand close to his mouth to throw out the sound or to obtain a tremolo.
There has never been a whistler who could obtain such big, round full notes with such a melody. This is the best employment of an accordion in years, for it made the harmony. Popular melodies would be preferable, but the "Il Trovatore" air should remain. The act is not arranged well. The whistler should enter whistling and the accordion duet sandwiched in.
