The duo, in the opening position, performed a comedy magic act. One works in the evening togs doing the straight work of "now you see and now you don't," while the other works in eccentric make-up and looks after the burlesque expose.
Very little of what the announcer said got beyond the orchestra pit. There is little tendency of either man to work quickly. Moreover, they offer nothing new. Their closing trick, of pulling a live gander from the back of a "plant," was rather laboriously performed. The act lacks the fun, life and routine to give it room in the big houses.
