The men are shown in the dressing room prior to to a game. Rain calls the game off and the four players, pitcher, catcher and two others put in some time kidding one another, singing and pulling a lot of horseplay. There is nothing to the sketch. "That Fussy Rag" was all to the mustard. They finish with a burlesque "bit" with a short chorus at the curtain.
The first number tripped up on the bases, but the boys got home safely with their last two. The boys would do much better with some real talk, snappy slang and a few good jokes. The act seems to have been written for the small time as the men seem to take a lot of liberties with the dialogue.
