"The Hold-Up" is described as "an episode of the great Southwest." The skit surrounds the dealings of a telegraph operator and a train dispatch station. No detail has been spared in the illusion of the trains. Percival Lennon played the operator, Jefferson Hall the "hold-up" man and Tom Ward as the engineer.
