Brandt sings three or four straight songs with an accompanist and wears a beautiful gown.
She did not play "sure fire applause getters" such as "Coming Thru the Rye", "Killarney", or "The Last Rose of Summer", which was unusual for a straight singing act.
Brandt was a hit on a Monday night. "Several floral offerings went over the footlights".
This singing act is aided by Brandt's voice and personality, but is not suited to the vaudeville stage.
