The act, entitled “The Real Q” ran for seventeen minutes.
The sketch is a dramatized version of a magazine short story. S. Miller Kent plays the real “Mr. Q”, a burglar who has robbed hundred of dental parlors. Q frames another burglar for the robberies by posing as a doctor and has him arrested by a Central Office detective named McCready.
Every role is played well by the company. S. Miller Kent, J.J. Plerson, and J.E. Parks stand out among the cast as having performed capitally. The ending was unexpected and the sketch should prove to be a solid hit for the company.
