Rice and McDonald are probably related to Rice and Prevost; the acts are similar.
The few members of the audience who were present were not very attentive to the openers.
The man is a dandy tumbler but has no idea how to work with a comedian. The comedian is in need of much work. The straight can hold up the act on the small time until the comedian has had an opportunity of testing his powers in the laughing line.
