Miss Nichols has changed her act slightly since last seen at the Fifth Avenue. One song includes some light imitations which were introduced well. She has good judgement, using more of a travesty idea.
Nichols also does a manicure bit, but it does not seem to suit her; like all others of its kind, it is a gross exaggeration. Although it was well done, the talk is slangy and rough, and should be replaced. Miss Nichols has a corking voice, pleasing personality and a gingerly manner which will place her over in any company. After seeing all the lately homemade "single women" entertainers, it is a pleasure to see a real one who has something other than a big voice and a wiggle.
