The act was eleven minutes long.
Burkhardt sang four songs. Two are burlesque operatic numbers which blend popular melodies with classical music. He also does an auto number.
"Audiences are growing wise to the fact that singers who believe they should be in grand opera are merely using them to practice on."
His style of operatic/popular music is almost out of date in vaudeville. The auto number is alright for women singles, but for not for a man. Burkhardt should be given a chance, however, because being placed third on the bill is a difficult position to be in.
