This “settee” act entitled “The Wager” was eleven minutes long.
Garson and Bogues sit on a settee and sing and do some comedic talk.
The duo should not have used Clark and Bergman's laugh-getting "Will You Marry Me?" line, because it showed the lack of originality in the act. "They are singers, but haven't the songs or act to sustain them on the 'big time.'"
