The act is very different than most animal acts, which is saying something for such an act. Without Miss Stickney there would be no act; she is a dandy looking girl with a smile that goes further than a pony or dog. She dresses as a "kid" and does not carry a whip. The dog goes through most of his performance unnoticed. The male assistant gets some laughs of of stilts.
The act opened one of the best shows at Fifth Avenue in a while. Stickney will have no problem putting over the act in a similar position on any bill.
