Returning to vaudeville after the "untimely failure of 'The Lovely Liar'", Dresser sang a a series of popular songs, some of which were ballads.
"Daddy"
"The Kind of Fellow I Can Love"
"Put on Your Slippers, You're in For the Night"
"Babyland"
It was Dresser's "magnetism", beauty and "winning smile" which captivated her audience, rather than her delivery of her songs. The two last songs were most popular with the audience, and she performed an encore with the chorus of the first song.
"To anyone with an eye for beauty and things harmonious Louise Dresser is like a breath of fresh air"
