The act should be entitled "Echoes" as it is reminiscent of Mr. Dixey's past and his great versatility. He opens with a verse on "The Actor," depicting many characters in brief. He then sang "Variety," followed with an old time variety bill of juggling, pantomiming acrobats, magic (with palming), a sand dance and then closes with a song and dance after the style of George Primrose.
It was a nice enough number, Mr. Dixey's name being sufficiently strong enough to guarantee a draw for the box office.
