Harry Houdini

Houdini escapes in 15 minutes after being soaked and tied up in bed sheets. His hands were first strapped to his sides, then he was rolled in the sheets and laid on a hospital cot. He was finally strapped to the cot. The ice water was then dumped on him. His escape started with his big toe on his right foot until he got his entire leg out of the linen. At the ten minute mark only one strap held him to the bed. The work was short, and obviously painful, from there. Houdini was exhausted but managed to shake hands with his challengers afterwards. Mrs. Houdini was not present.
Keith's was packed; the standee space at the back of the orchestra was filled. The theatre then allowed 200 men and women to stand on stage to witness the act.
