Houdini escapes from a "so-called sea monster" after being challenged by a group of men. The 500 year old turtle was captured off the coast of Nova Scotia and brought to the Keith's stage in Boston. After signing a legal document taking all responsibilities for his actions, Houdini changed into blue jumpers. Armed with three handkerchiefs and two bottles of perfume he was chained to the turtle and placed under a red cabinet. Mrs. Houdini waited nervously in the wings for 15 minutes until her husband escaped.
