Stoddard's clowning
at the piano is funny, and it caught
laughs repeatedly. One thing Gardner
doesn't do is to give an imitation of a
young girl playing. Marie Stoddard is
stunning in a black "Gibson Girl" gown.
She looks so well it's a shame to remember
her in the grotesque get up.
The
"Sally Skinner girl," though, must be admitted
the biggest hit of the show
Wednesday night.
