Pickering Brown worked too hard to be in the character of the pale and anaemic second husband.
Added a revolver to the already plentiful noise-making paraphernalia. Not as high of order as other Irish acts but still had effective comedy. Brown led astray by the strenuous key in which the whole thing was pitched.
