For the finish they employ
four illuminated “diabolo” tops, the colors
of which change like those in the illuminated
torches used by jugglers. On the
darkened stage the flying tops make a
beautiful period to a capital act.
Hoop Rolling and Diabolo. They open with a strikingly swift routine
of hoop juggling, made to seem spectacular
by the scheme of having all the men
employed together as much as possible.
