Miss Adler filled the spot originally slated for Belle Baker, who did not appear.
She was assisted by two youngsters from the orchestra. Her first number was “Don’t Wake Me Up, I am Dreaming” in which the boys came in on the chorus, putting the number over big.
Miss Adler said the boys were the greater part of the act, which is quite true, although she most likely did not mean to convey that impression.
