Ferrari and Co. have a poor position on the Hammerstein card this week. The dancers are billed as "No. 4," bad enough. Through the falling out of an act or two the apt is playing "No 2," little better than certain death.
Ferrari is a good acrobatic dancer of the whirlwind type. He has two or three other excellent dancers in the troupe. The fourth member, a girl, does some real work. There is a young woman who becomes the star. Her whirlwind and acrobatic dancing brought great applause from the 2 o'clock crowd. There is fault in the act: there is no beginning or end. The closing "Apache" number does little. The ability is there but a better routine is needed.
