Ernest Ball ought to dress up. Monday evening Ernie sauntered out clad in a grey business suit, that needed pressing very badly. A tux or evening dress might be the answer. Closing the first half, Ball and Maude Lambert pulled down a sizeable hit, the medley of songs going over as usual Ball has held on longer than any of the army of songwriters that invaded vaudeville eight or ten years ago and his offering is now landing just as solidly as it did when he started. In contrast to Ernie's working man's wardrobe, Miss Lambert displayed a whole flock of new and attractive costumes.
