Miss Carus performs a new repertoire. Emma closed her act with the song, " I Just Met the Girl That Married the Fellow That I Was Going to Get." Between the verses she gives an amusing monologue. She also performed "Pots and Pans," a song about a girl who was born on Ireland's sod, but works in America as a servant and scrubs floors all day. "Oh, You Beautiful Doll," and "Alexander's Ragtime Band" are also sung, along with, "Whoops, My Dear." "Hold Up Your Hands" was one of the most popular songs of the night.
Miss Carus enunciates distinctly and thus gives the audience the enjoyment of hearing good songs without having to strive to understand.
