Opening with a selection whic did not evidence any vocal improvement, she sang three other numbers, one which Norah Bayes first used, and the last a popular song.
The house wanted to sing the chorus, but Miss Carus rebelled after extending an invitation. The orchestra played the melody again for the exit march, wich was overdoing the "plugging" just a trifle.
