Effective impersonations of vaudeville stars.
Songs sung whilst impersonating another star.
Janis combines her impersonations with musical interpretations of her subjects.
Janis performed songs and impersonations of stage favourites as part of her act.
"Tipperary" as Mme Bernhardt, "I Didn't Raise My Boy to Be a Soldier" as Mazinova, "The Village Blacksmith" as Frank Tinney and others.
Her reception could hardly have been more enthusiastic.
Miss Janis' art of mimicry is, if anything, even better than ever. Her act is is more fanciful than the bits she has offered in her musical successes.
