"Wanted, a Tenor" - McKenna, reading a newspaper, comes across an advertisement for a $5000 reward for anyone who can produce a tenor who can replace Caruso. An Italian comes on stage singing Grand Opera, "Just the Man." When the job does not go through, they create their own singing act and Ellis drops his Italian character. They change into evening clothes for a singing finish.
Ellis has an excellent tenor voice with a wide range and sweet tone. He handles a heavy number well. McKenna follows with a ballad that does not suit him. A more lively number should replace it. Their voices blend nicely and the bigness of their tone can not help but win for them. Overall, they are a better duo than they were part of the former quartet,
